Better to be safe than sorry!

Fellow domestic and international travellers,

With these new scanners in place, it would seem you can now take on larger than 100ml bottles and aerosoles. Hooray for that perfume you love to cart around. But, dear travellers, mind you don't get caught with an overweight carry on bag and have to throw things away at the checkin that would be embarrassing!

Plane Jane still has a place in your hand luggage and until all this settles down, I say, it is better to be safe than sorry. Still decant your goodies and place the big stuff in the hold in your big suitcase just for now!

Miss Jane has spoken!

Have a look at the link below to see what the hoo ha is all about!

Checkout Virgin's latest competition. Budgie smugglers rule! The most humiliating holiday snap ever |

Denise newest customer

Yay to Denise Drysdale (aka Ding Dong) who headed off on her trip of a lifetime, to Germany along the River Rhine...

Small cabin, carry on luggage, busy days on shore with only her handbag...
What more did she need than her Plane Jane Travel pack full of her own personal dry land survival kit? Love to know what she put in it....have a guess. Comments if you dare!

Adventure Plane Jane

If you are one of those people who love to burn a few calories whilst on holiday, then the new Lonely Planet top 10 Australian destinations are for you! Top 5 on my list are definitely for the reasons mentioned!
CLIMB THE SYDNEY HARBOUR BRIDGE  (champagne afterwards as a reward for the effort!)
CIRCUIT ULURU (Head back for a champagne watching the stunning sunset)
DRIVING ACROSS THE NULLARBOR PLAIN  (no exertion needed for this one...just stamina and of course champagne)
DRIVING UP GIBB RIVER ROAD (ditto plus a bit of organisation with supplies or the above mentioned!)

A good initiation for those who would love to be an Aussie through and through!

A very big 'MWAHH'  to my special friend Fifi who has spread the love about Plane Jane even further! Check out her latest newsletter, number 315 where she not only suggests the best way to get your cherished lotions and potions on board long haul flights without those terrible people (called Customs) taking them away, but tells you all about what's hot and what's not in the world of fashion, books and cooking. Oh my, so much to do and so little time...thank god for Fifi!

More Leg Room for Plane Janers!

A big congratulations to South Korea’s Asiana Airlines named last night as the Skytrax research organisation’s Airline of the Year. They surveyed 17.9 million travellers and it is one of the few airlines that offer long-haul economy passengers 34 inches (86.5cm) of seat space per seat row. Finally these airlines realise that we are not all midgets and can't all fly up the sharp end!

So before you book your next flight and get the Plane Jane travel pack of your choice, check out the link to the Seat Guru on my website and feel glamorous and refreshed when you arrive at your destination.

Other carriers who have taken the leap and gone from 32 inches (82cm) are: Thai Airways and Malaysia Airlines; Asiana, Qatar Airways, Air New Zealand and Turkish Airlines.

All the products sold on this website are for people who need the glam of travel without the glum!

Get your security compliant travel pack for long haul flights. 100ml bottles in the regulation clear plastic 1Litre bag.
